Avigen is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and
commercializing small molecule therapeutics to treat serious neurological and
neuromuscular disorders. Our current lead product candidates primarily address
spasticity and neuromuscular spasm and neuropathic pain.
Our goal is to retain rights to commercialize our products in North America
and therefore we expect, when appropriate, to build a sales and marketing
infrastructure. We intend to seek to out-license rights to develop and market
our products outside the United States. We also intend to continue to look for
opportunities to expand our pipeline of compounds through a combination of
